Yoga for Health & Energy

Mondays for 5 weeks from 5th May 6.30 to 7.30pm 

$40 for 5 weeks or $8 for casuals

A great way to improve your health and energy which focuses on flexibility, balance, strength, breathing, relaxation and meditation.  Classes are held for 6 weeks beginning 6th May.  Facilitated by Jannine Sarney and held at Anita's Dance Academy.  The cost is $50 or if you would prefer to come casually it is $10 per class

Bellydancing

Mondays for 6 weeks from 5th May    

7.35 to 8.30pm.  $50.00 (sorry no casual rate available for this class)

This class is a fun low impact dance exercise suitable for all fitness levels, shapes and sizes. This is a wonderful way to improve your balance and maintain joint function. These classes are held at Anitas Dance Academy in King Street.

Line Dancing

Wednesdays for 8 weeks from 7th May     

10.30am to 11.30am $60 for or $10 casuals.

This is a fun class based on ballroom and Latin dance with a line dancing twist. It’s a great way to meet people whilst enjoying the benefits of a healthy physical activity. Classes are for eight weeks from 7th May.  Facilitated by Anita Perin-Zgomba and held at Anita’s Dance Academy.

Pilates

Wednesdays for 8 weeks from  7th May

7.30 to 8.30pm $65 or $10 casuals

Pilates is a fantastic way to move the body in different directions to help you perform at your best whether it be in the gym, on the sports field, or to help you do your everyday tasks with ease. In these classes we will work through a whole body flow to leave you feeling centred, aligned and strong. Some options will be given to modify positions and you are welcome to select what is right for you.  Facilitated by Chelsea Mortiboy  and held at Anita's dance Academy.

Silver Swans (ballet for more mature learners)

Mondays for 6 weeks from  5th May 

10.30am to 11.30am.  $50.00  or $10 per class if you want to attend causally.

The very popular low impact Silver Swans programme has been designed by the Royal Academy of Dance specifically for the more mature learner; however all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.  Ballet is a wonderful way to enhance mobility, posture, coordination and energy, with the benefits of cardiovascular health, muscle and bone strength and mental alertness.  As an art form ballet offers creative self expression, relaxation and joy.  Whether you danced in the past or always wanted to but never had the chance, now is the time!  Classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience.  Facilitated by Anita Perin-Zgomba  & Jacqui Beets and held at Anita’s Dance Academy.

Workout to Improve Mental & Physical Health

Thursdays for 6 weeks from 8th May     

10.30 to 11.30am $50 or $10 casuals.

A new workout class for 2025.  Fun joyful class using dance movements to make exercise enjoyable, prioritising stretching, mobility and positive mental health.  This class focuses on enriching your physical and mental health wellbeing.  Exercise is increasingly being viewed as a form of mindfulness and enrichment, rather than needing to push yourself to the extremes.  Facilitated by Anita Perin-Zgomba and held at Anita's Dance Academy.  The cost is $50 for the 6 weeks or if you prefer to come casually it will be $10 per class.

Zumba Fitness

Tuesdays  for 8 weeks from 6th May  7.30 to 8.30pm

$60 for eight weeks or $10 per class if you want to attend as a casual

If you would like an uplifting cardio workout which burns fat, builds muscle and improves fitness - come along and try this step class. You will be stepping up, over and around an adjustable step. This is a fantastic way to improve your fitness, balance, agility and coordination. Facilitated by Candice Terblance Maritz and held at Anita’s Dance Academy.
